At 5:30 in the morning, many of Salt Lake City’s residents are hitting their snooze buttons, but Tyler Parrish is up, literally. Most early mornings before sunrise, Tyler can be found hiking one of Salt Lake Valley’s more prominent peaks, Grandeur Peak. He’s an avid outdoorsman. Years ago, you could have ridden down the Colorado River or the Green River with Tyler as your white water rafting guide or caught him now biking along the Wasatch front. This winter season you will find him skiing at Deer Valley.
Tyler’s motivation isn’t limited to just the outdoors, it’s translated through his business achievements in real estate. Whether it’s finding an off-market property, multi-family deal or act as the right voice for perhaps a seller hold-out, Tyler can figure out a positive result that’s always best for his clients.
One example of Tyler’s determination and positive outcome occurred recently when he represented the Gymnastic Training Center. The GTC had specific needs, but after a two-year exhaustive search, Tyler brokered with three different property owners in order to acquire an off market 2 acre parcel along 3300 South. He worked with Ryan Evans, who is another Windermere Associate Broker, to find the property which will become GTC’s new 25,000 Sq. Ft. training facility. They broke ground in the fall of 2013, and estimate completion in the spring of 2014.
Tyler continues to have success at work as well in his personal growth and family. He’s been happily married for 12 years to Angie. You can find them along with their three children living on the Salt Lake Valley’s East bench.
